Russia’s Gazpromflot is looking for short-term charter business for its newly acquired first floating storage and regasification unit.

Brokers have been reported as offering the 170,000-cbm Marshal Vasilevskiy (built 2018), which is stationed at the Russian exclave of Kaliningrad, out for charter.

But the unit is expected to be only available for periods of around two months as it is a strategic import facility and must be capable of being recalled at short notice.
