A floating storage and regasification unit (FSRU) owned by Golar LNG that was lying idle off Ghana in West Africa for more than 15 months has departed after the project it is chartered to appears to have collapsed.

Ship tracking data show the 170,000-cbm FSRU Golar Tundra (built 2015) left Tema off Ghana on 19 September and arrived in Algeciras, southern Spain, over the weekend, where a bunker vessel was visible alongside the LNG ship.
