Danish engine designer MAN Energy Solutions (MES) is poised to start its first engine test runs using ammonia as a fuel.
Speaking at a webinar MES principal promotion manager for dual-fuel engines, two-stroke promotion and customer support Peter Kirkeby said that in “a couple of months” the company will run its Danish test engine with one cylinder running on ammonia.
