Navigare Capital dives into LNG with newbuilding order at Samsung Heavy Industries

Denmark’s Navigare Capital Partners has emerged as the backer behind an unidentified order for an LNG carrier that was concluded in mid-December, marking a leap into a new sector for the investment company.

Navigare Capital managing partner Henrik Ramskov confirmed to TradeWinds that his company had contracted a 174,000-cbm LNG carrier at Samsung Heavy Industries.

Ramskov said: “I am unfortunately not able to provide further information at this stage.”
