Slack trading conditions are being blamed for a fresh drop in spot charter rates for LNG carriers as open tonnage starts to build up.
Brokers said between 10 and 12 vessels were available on a prompt basis in the Far East, with about half of that number showing in the Atlantic region.
There were few fixtures concluded to benchmark rates.
