Marine insurance broker Tysers has tried to shed some light on the financial status of protection and indemnity insurance mutuals by comparing them to bird species.
The broker’s customary light-hearted annual review notes International Group of P&I Clubs’ members are usually like birds of a feather which flock together — but they have been sent into a flap by the upcoming merger of North P&I Club and Standard Club.
