A delivery of bad fuel that left a bulker drifting at sea for more than two weeks has set off a flurry of lawsuits and legal actions.
A division of European Archer Daniels Midland, ADMIntermare, sued Glencore in Manhattan federal court last week, alleging that the Switzerland-based commodity trader provided off-spec fuel via Kamca Trading to the 56,836-dwt SFL Yukon (built 2010) in Panama during June 2018.
