An appellate court has granted Pacific Gulf Shipping's request that the court control the $9.5m posted as security in its ongoing lawsuit against Blue Wall Shipping.
Pacific Gulf had argued that Blue Wall is winding down operations by selling off ships and that if the motion were not granted, and the security returned to Blue Wall, it would have no one to collect from should it prevail in the legal battle.
