Renowned shipping lawyer Oystein Meland has joined Norway's BAHR after 40 years at rival Wikborg Rein.
The Norwegian has been recruited to beef up BAHR's new Bergen office.
Meland joined Wikborg Rein in 1981 and was latterly a partner at the firm.
Oslo-headquartered BAHR describes him as a "star lawyer" who has now joined the new ocean industry group, which includes shipping, aquaculture and fisheries.
