A Turkish seaman accused of killing his ship’s master and injuring four fellow crew members at sea just before Christmas is to be extradited to face trial in his home country.
A court in Sri Lanka, where the suspect has been detained since the incident, has agreed to a Turkish prosecutor’s request to hand him over, said Caglar Koscuncu, a lawyer who represents the captain's family in the case.
