US independent Noble Energy is set to approach contractors later this quarter to carry out engineering work on potential LNG developments in the eastern Mediterranean.
The Houston-based company operates the huge Leviathan gas discovery off Israel. Its 16 trillion cubic feet of estimated reserves are almost certainly going to be developed for export with LNG thought to be the most viable solution.
