Plans to install an LNG regasification vessel as a temporary terminal to supply the German market are still alive, writes Lucy Hine.
Speaking at the Flame LNG Summit in Amsterdam this week, Helmut Hammerschmid, head of LNG North Africa for RWE Supply & Trading, said a detailed feasibility study is being completed.
He said there are some permitting issues that the company is working on with the authorities.
