The KARE Project, which is just being trialled, is not an initiative from the company’s head office in Tokyo but is very much the brainchild of K Line LNG Shipping (UK) (KLNG) managing director Yuzuru Goto for the London LNG fleet.
It is also quite a commitment.
“Shipmanagement is a very reactive business by nature,” Goto said, with staff tackling a myriad of complex, small issues every day to keep vessels running from A to B.
