Japan's Mitsui E&S Group has begun proceedings in the Tokyo District Court to wind up its shipping and machinery sales subsidiary, MES Shipping.
A liquidation order was issued by the court on 14 December, according to corporate credit research company Teikoku Data Bank.
MES Shipping is a consolidated company in the Tokyo Stock Exchange-listed Mitsui E&S Group.
