Concordia Maritime is considering future options outside of its core product tanker business amid a sell-off of its vessels.

Chief executive Erik Lewenhaupt said the Swedish shipowner’s current strategy could leave it without any ships as he considers proposals for the sale of its remaining four P-Max vessels.

The cash-strapped company sold seven ships in 2022 to bring down its debt and prepare itself for a strategy reboot after being unable to fully exploit the boom in product tanker rates.
