South Korean shipbuilder Hanwha Ocean has bumped up the price for two giant LNG floating storage units as the second FSU delivers and heads for the eastern end of the Northern Sea Route (NSR).

A stock exchange announcement revealed that the cost of the FSUs was increased by the yard by almost 10%.

The units initially cost just over $367m each when they were contracted in June 2020 by Russian state-owned State Transport Leasing Co (GTLK).
