Oslo-listed Stainless Tankers has upped its profit while spending more money to expand its fleet.
The shipowner said it had spent $27m on two 2005-built J19-type stainless steel chemical tankers of around 20,000 dwt.
The company has increased its loan agreement by that amount to fund the acquisition.
