Greek shipowner Empire Bulkers has sold a modern handysize bulker that it purchased in December 2015.
The 33,000-dwt Galene M (built 2011) has been sold to Turkish owner Densay for $12.5m, sources say.
The Stamatis Molaris-led company bought the vessel as Matsushima Bay for $11.5m.
Empire Bulkers group did not immediately respond to a request for comment, and efforts to reach Densay were not successful.
