TT-Line looks set to order two new ro-pax ferries at Flensburger Schiffbau-Gesellschaft for deployment in Australia.
The two companies have signed a letter of intent for the ships, which will be replacements for existing tonnage sailing between Victoria and the island of Tasmania.
TT-Line chairman Mike Grainger said the companies would now commence contract negotiations and agree to final design specifications.
