MOL tipped to scoop Total LNG bunker vessel

Japanese shipowner MOL has been selected to supply a pioneering LNG bunker vessel (LNGBV) to energy major Total that will serve French liner company CMA CGM’s next generation of dual-fuelled boxships.

TradeWinds understands that MOL and Total are scheduled to sign contracts for what is expected to be an 18,600-cbm vessel today with a public announcement expected to follow this week.
