Turkish energy company Botas is behind a fresh order for a floating storage and regasification unit confirmed at South Korea’s Hyundai Heavy Industries this week.
Sources working on the business said the 170,000-cbm vessel, which is due for delivery in 2020, has been ordered against a charter to Botas but were less clear about the contracting party.
Shipbuilders said Botas went direct to yards for quotes on the regas vessel.
