Russian energy company Novatek said this week that the spate of US sanctions shocking shipping is not holding up LNG shipments from its Yamal LNG project.
The company’s comment followed a statement by Teekay group that Cosco Shipping Tanker (Dalian) Co — an outfit on the US blacklist — is an indirect 50% owner of its joint venture TC LNG Shipping LLC, which has six ice-class Arc7 vessels for Yamal.
