Capital Liberty Invest — the joint venture formed by Evangelos Marinakis and Dietrich Schulz — has cashed in on the sale of one of its two small containerships.
The 1,878-teu Asterix (built 2008) has been sold to Mediterranean operator Admiral Container Lines (ACL) for $9.7m.
That is around $700,000 more than the partners paid for the vessel prior to its delivery to Capital Liberty in January this year.
