John Fredriksen’s private Seatankers Management has locked its two aframax tankers into two year time-charters with US tanker operator Mjolner Shipping.
The scrubber fitted 109,000-dwt Sea Bay and Sea Hope (both built 2009) are reportedly set to earn $28,000 per day. The deals mean that Fredriksen’s private company is set to earn a total of $40m from the charters over the period.
