Viet Thuan Transport has made its first sale-and-purchase move of 2020 by acquiring a handysize bulker that is slated for use in the domestic Vietnamese coal transshipment trade.
The Uong Bi-based company is said to have paid $6m to South Korean shipowner Doriko for the 32,000-dwt bulk carrier Pacific Legend (built 2010). The Nanjing Dongzhe-built vessel is due for its second special survey in July of this year.
