Eastern Pacific Shipping is aiming to consolidate its diverse bulker fleet around the capesize market segment — and has taken a step towards this goal by selling off an almost new ultramax.
An as-yet-disclosed Japanese company has paid $22.8m for the 61,000-dwt Divinegate (built 2019), a price described as just a fraction above what it was ordered for at Dalian Cosco KHI Ship Engineering in 2017.
