The US has released video ostensibly showing Iran boarding the product tanker its forces seized Wednesday being boarded, while calling on the Tehran to explain its actions.
The video, posted to Twitter by the US Central Command, depicts what is identified as an Iranian Sea King helicopter hovering above what is said to be the 8,055-dwt Wila (built 1997).
The grainy footage appears to show people repelling out of the helicopter and onto the ship's deck.
