Mexico’s Evya Group is the latest addition to Otto Marine’s legal agenda as the Singaporean company seeks $10.5m in alleged unpaid hire.
Otto said its subsidiary Karp Marine has commenced arbitration proceedings under the London Maritime Arbitrators Association Terms 2012 over the bareboat charter of the 75-loa Oranda 1 (built 2011).
The company claims that Evya has failed to pay interest and hire expenses under the charter agreement.
