Norway's Seabrokers Chartering is moving into a new sector with the takeover of compatriot shop Skagen Ship Consulting (SSC).
The offshore broker, an anchor-handling tug supply and platform supply vessel specialist, has acquired 75% of SSC's shares as part of its diversification strategy.
Seabrokers said aquaculture broker SSC was formed by "two young and very good entrepreneurs" — Hakon Rugland and Patrick Ramsberg.
