The platform supply vessel (PSV) market in Norway has sold out after a steady bout of fixing this week.
All 20 working ships were in use on Friday, forcing ConocoPhillips to pay NOK 150,000 ($15,300) for a Nordic American Offshore ship.
"Tight to the bone in Norway with zero available vessels," broker Westshore said.
"Eleven PSVs have been fixed on the UK side in the last couple of days resulting in only three of 49 vessels without upcoming commitments."
