Hamburg Sud’s long-standing former chief executive officer Klaus Meves has died.
He died unexpectedly on the evening of 26 February at the age of 76.
“With the passing of Dr Klaus Meves, who worked for Hamburg Sud for almost 40 years, we have lost an outstanding former colleague and CEO who dedicated his life to the shipping industry and Hamburg Sud,” the company said.
