UK shipbroker Clarksons is expanding further into offshore wind with a takeover in the Netherlands.

Subsidiary Clarkson Port Services (CPS) has completed the acquisition of offshore renewables logistics provider DHSS, it said on Tuesday. No financial terms were revealed.

DHSS was set up in Den Helder in 1997, providing maintenance and support through the life cycle of wind turbine installation.

CPS is already active in the offshore renewables, dry bulk and oil and gas sectors, offering port agency, freight forwarding, customs clearance, terminal handling, shortsea broking and procurement.
