The 1,500-dwt Yilmaz Kaptan (built 1979) was docking at Antalya on 19 September when the accident occurred.
Local reports said Yusuf Hikmet Temel was taken to hospital, but could not be saved.
Police have launched an investigation.
The vessel is operated by Doganbey Denizcilik of Istanbul.
