A Hong Kong general cargoship has been involved in a collision with a fishing vessel off Japan.



No injuries were reported after the accident off Kaga in Ishikawa on Friday.



The 8,000-dwt cargoship (built 2008), with 18 crew, was heading to Tsuruga while the trawler was dragging a net when the incident occurred.



No pollution was reported and the two vessels were able to continue their voyages.
