A dramatic photograph posted on social media has revealed the damage caused to a large containership after it collided with a VLCC in the Singapore Straits on Wednesday night.
MSC said yesterday that the 14,000-teu MSC Alexandra (built 2010) suffered significant damage following a crash with the 319,988-dwt Dream (built 2008). This is fully demonstrated in the image.
