Belgian gas carrier owner Exmar has confirmed that it placed its order for two VLGCs at Hanjin Heavy Industries and Construction in the Philippines.
The LPG carriers are set for delivery in the third quarter of 2020 and are fixed on long-term charter to Statoil of Norway.
Exmar announced the charter contract to Statoil in December, but did not say where the ships would be built nor what kind of main engines they would have.
