Turkey’s Tersan Shipyard has netted yet another order for a big fishing boat from Okeanrybflot, a company based in Russia's far East.

A contract for a second freezer stern trawler has been signed with JSC Okeanrybflot, Tersan said in a statement on Friday. This will be a sistership of a 108-metre wide vessel already under construction at the same yard, due for delivery in June on behalf of the same client.

JSC Okeanrybflot is based in the Kamchatka and is believed to be controlled by Valery Ponomarev, a wealthy politician who also represents the remote region in Russia's federal institutions.
