Songa Bulk has snapped up its second capesize and taken its total spend to nearly $200m.
The Arne Blystad-backed company said it has acquired a 180,706-dwt bulker built at South Korea’s STX for $28.85m.
TradeWinds understands Songa has bought the vessel from compatriot Golden Ocean.
The only vessel matching the description provided by Songa is the 180,716-dwt Golden Opus (built 2010).
