A new physical bunker supply operation is launching in the US Gulf with plans to focus on the low-sulphur market and eventually manufacture its own fuel for compliance with emissions rules that are set to tighten in 2020.
GCC Bunkers is positioning itself as a provider of solutions to comply with emissions regulations that currently require low-sulphur fuel in the North American Emissions Control area but that will grow far more stringent in less than three years.
