Clarksons Platou Securities has revealed its top three stock picks for 2020 as regulatory changes open up new possibilities for tankers.
Head of research Turner Holm and shipping analysts Frode Morkedal, Omar Nokta and Erik Hovi are backing Frontline and Scorpio Tankers to boost their share prices this year, as well as GasLog in the LNG sector.
They picked out Frontline as a "Very Large Cash Company (VLCC)", with plenty of short-term upside potential in the crude market.
