The first European tanker has docked at Iran’s Pars Petrochemical Port in Assalouyeh.

Giuseppe Bottiglieri's 40,000–dwt Ghetty Bottiglieri (built 2002) berthed this week to load petrochemical products, according to AIS data. It is now heading to the UAE.

The Mehr news agency said on Tuesday more European vessels will dock in the port following the lifting of western sanctions.

Pars has 15 berths and a draught of 15 metres.
