Frontline shareholders on Tuesday backed a switch of corporate domicile from Bermuda to Cyprus as it pushes to unify its fleet with Euronav.

The change of registration for the Oslo and New York-listed company is a condition of the planned combination with the Belgian tanker company.

John Fredriksen has long links with the Mediterranean island having taken Cypriot citizenship in 2006 and with his Seatankers Management holding company based in Limassol.
