Russian shipbuilder Krasnoye Sormovo has clinched two new contracts to build five tankers and five bulkers.
It will hand over the vessels this year and in 2018, Port News reported.
The yard will construct the RST27M-type chemical carriers for domestic owner BF Tanker and the RSD59 dry cargo vessels for the unknown Pola Rise.
This is according to sources at the Nizhny Novgorod yard's owner, United Shipbuilding Corporation (USC).
