Shipowner MSea Group says Trafigura’s new dual-fuel methanol carrier charter is the first such deal by a non-methanol producer.

The giant trading group has fixed the 50,000-dwt MR Mari Innovator (built 2021) for an unspecified period to boost its oil product network.

The ship is co-owned by Waterfront Shipping and MSea’s joint venture with Arkview Capital, Clean Sea Transport.
