Navig8 Chemical Tankers has seen its second quarter net profit more than triple as it continues to take delivery of its large newbuilding program.
The Nicolas Busch-led shipowner reported net income of $9.6m for the three months versus the $2.85m achieved twelve months earlier.
The company, which trades over-the-counter (OTC) in Oslo, saw revenue almost triple to $39.9m as the fleet expanded to 22 ships by the end of the three month period.
