UK ship operator Navig8 Group has sold out of Navig8 Chemical Tankers as private equity giant Oaktree Capital Management nears full control.
Navig8 founded the Oslo-listed spin-off, which has 32 ships, in 2013 with Oaktree.
Navig8 Chemical said it has called a special meeting of shareholders on 20 August to approve a change of name to Chemical Tankers Inc (CTI) to better reflect its standing as an independent owner and manager.
