A second small clean tanker has been arrested in as many days in Singapore, latest court documents show.
The 8,000-dwt Semua Selamat (built 2008) was detained by the local admiralty sheriff on the orders of law firm Gurbani & Co.
AIS data shows the ship presently moored off Singapore’s Western Petroleum A Anchorage (AWPA) in position 01° 24.10'N, 103° 80.18'E.
The exact details as to why the ship has been arrested remain unclear, but it is likely to be related to outstanding payments for services.
