A tanker has spilled 10 tonnes of diesel fuel following a collision in a Bangladesh river.

The 1,100-dwt Desh-I (built 1976) was breached in an incident near Chattogram.

BDNews24 reported that the vessel was involved in a clash with a ship, named as CT-38, carrying vegetable oil at the Dolphin Oil jetty on Friday.

Desh-I was fined BDT 30m ($353,000).
