Aframax crude tankers loading in the Black Sea can fetch more than $200,000 per day according to figures from the Baltic Exchange.

As Russia continues its incursion into Ukraine enters its fifth day, tanker rates are showing no rates of slowing down with earnings across the market skyrocketing.

Chief among them, aframaxes on the TD17 route from the Black Sea to the Mediterranean Sea were earning an average time charter equivalent (TCE) rates of $209,654 per day, according to Baltic Exchange assessments.
