Crowley Petroleum Services says it will extend and expand an agreement with technology group Wartsila for maintenance of 11 articulated tug barges (ATBs).
The agreement, signed in December 2017, will now go to 2023 instead of the original date of 2019. It will cover the maintenance of 22 Wartsila engines installed on board 11 Crowley ATBs.
The contract is Wartsila’s first maintenance agreement to cover complete propulsion systems, including seals and bearings.
